Shed conversion to Studio progress day2

The flooring is laid!

Above you can see the underlay down ready for the carpet to be laid on top....

The carpet is pulled out ready..... then fitted...

Hey presto we have carpet! You can see I have my Tom Richmond collection hanging, I was able to snap up his MAD parody of the School of Rock!

On this wall I have my C.F.Payne hanging with a Disney cell next to it, that has Donald Duck in an art studio! Very cool!

Above on the right is another Panel from the Tom Richmond School of Rock parody and on the left is my original Mort Drucker MAD page!

This wall is where my painting table will positioned and I am hoping to start watercolour painting again!

Over the next few days I shall be 'moving in' and by Wednesday next week, I shall be able to officially declare the Studio, OPEN for art!

Looks great Steve, you can't beat hanging art up on a nice new wall! Top stuff.

You're a lucky man Steve - I'd be green with envy, but I can't afford the paint... :)

It's looking good Steve.
Brian built me a Summerhouse acouple of years ago for my creative work. I've yet to move in as Brian is convinced I will continue to work in the house. He knows me too well, but I think he is also wondering where he'd store his beer if I move in!

Love the MAD artwork. Love B&W artwork anyway. I started reading the Beano and Whizzer & chips etc before moving onto MAD as a teenager (with the sporting chronicle in between!) so do have many fond memories.

That's great Steve! You must be very happy with the way it's looking! I'm currently looking at building more workspace for myself and this is one route to take. Thanks for keeping us up to date with it all.
