Gosfield Hall

Gosfield Hall is a wedding venue in Essex. They hold weddings there and include my services on their recommended suppliers list. It is a loverly venue situated in north Essex, built in 1545 by Sir John Wentworth, a member of Cardinal Wolsey’s household, Gosfield Hall hosted Royal visits by Queen Elizabeth 1 and her grand retinue throughout the middle of the 16th century.

Today it is used all year round and holds a certain charm that can only be found in such wonderful architecture and historical background.

The photo below was taken on my mobile phone from my car, as I made my way into Gosfield Hall on December 18th to draw and entertain at a wedding.

As you can see it was the week that we encountered snow fall here in the UK and I have to say that Gosfield Hall looked absolutely perfect with the snow all around!
