Charity help

Earlier this month I was asked to create a caricature of Douglas Hurd, the former MP. It was in connection with his visit to the Tamworth Church, St Edithas (click here for the Church website) as he was to deliver a talk on behalf of the Peel Society and help raise funds for the Church roof project.

The caricature was used as a raffle prize and in itself raised £181 towards the final total of over a thousand pounds!

It was a pleasure to do this for the church as the Vicar there is an old and close friend of mine and someone who I respect greatly and have a lot of time for.

I had made two copies of the caricature, one large A3 framed caricature for the charity raffle and a smaller A4 one, that the Church gave to Douglas Hurd as a gift, he had donated his time to give his talk free of charge to help the church fund raising project.

I am really pleased it helped everyone out!
