Cartoon fun

I do not create as many cartoons as I would like to do.

Writing the gags is a creative process in itself and you have to work at it to produce good material, something I am always trying to get right.

The cartoon above started out as just a cartoon pet dog illustration. But I wanted to add some humor to it and thought his expression would fit well into a scene of a special store that only sold bones for dogs. Hence the Bones R Us gag that reflects the Toys R us store name that is worldwide and very famous.

He looked to me like he would walk through such a store with a feeling that said "I have arrived!"

Anyway, it is not the best gag but still conveys a little fun and I hope that you may enjoy it.
